ABOUT ME
I research screen media influences on children’s identity development. I aim to bridge academic research and the children’s media industry by translating insights from cognitive development to inform inclusive and impactful content.

I am a second year developmental psychology PhD student at the University of Michigan working with Dr. Monique Ward and Dr. Susan Gelman. My work is funded by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and the Rackham Merit Fellowship.
I graduated from Williams College (Class of 2024) with a BA in Psychology and Mathematics. During my time there, I did my honors thesis in Dr. Eliza Congdon’s Cognition, Action, Learning and Fun (CALF) Lab at Williams College, was a senior research assistant and junior lab manager at Dr. Andrei Cimpian’s Cognitive Development Lab (CDL) at New York University, and worked with Dr. Lori Markson in the Cognition and Development (C&D) Lab at Washington University in St. Louis.
